Biodegredable Plastic

Degradable plastic :

1. Poly (beta-hydroxybutyrate-co-hydroxyvalerate), or PHBV. Under the right conditions, bacteria can degrade this form of polyester to carbon dioxide and water in as little as six months up to 2 years. Polylactic acid, or PLA, is made from starch and can biodegrade under certain conditions.Temperature and Sun ray could stimulate the bio bacteria to start working on the plastic.

2 Biodegradable plastic has the potential to significantly reduce the volume of municipal waste generated in the worldwide. Since it can be composted, biodegradable plastic could be collected together with food scraps or yard waste and diverted to compost heaps. Normal plastics may take centuries to break down and are often difficult to recycle, whereas biodegradable plastics can be broken down quickly into useful soil amendments

In Indonesia, especially in our company, different types of degradable resins are available. We're focusing on bio-degradable resin where the plastic degrade with help of sunlight / natural. We're ISO 9001:2008 and BRC ( British Retail Consortium) Licensed. Types of degradable resin that we offer : Grene (Indonesian Local Market, D2W, and EPI Global.
